New Steering Committee Candidate
Alan Bell, Entrepreneur
Biography:
A graduate of Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, I have worked in marketing, design and communications for almost three decades. I have been at the cutting edge of business networking education for entrepreneurs in Ireland and beyond for over 15 years.
I now oversee and manage a vibrant, Dublin-based business community of professionals who build relationships together and have a major impact – not just on each other’s businesses, but on any aspect of their lives they care to share within the community. I'm passionate about nature and the outdoors and all their related ‘big concepts’, my own ‘big vision’ is to increasingly work with businesses and other organisations that contribute to the well-being of the planet, using my experience and expertise to help them fast-forward their own goals and vision. Along the way, I do my bit to raise awareness of environmental issues within small business practice.
What I would bring to the IFNC Steering Committee:
I would bring experience managing business committees, conflict mediation and resolution, vision creation and development, brand awareness and effective communications, member growth, retention, training and on boarding within membership organisations, event organisation, activating and organising business collaborations, and tapping into an extensive international network that was built over two decades.
