Natural Capital Ireland will host a stand at the 3rd annual Heritage Ireland 2030 Summit to celebrate Ireland’s national heritage on Wednesday, September 11, 9.15-4pm in the Printworks Event and Exhibition Centre, Dublin Castle.
The annual free event brings together stakeholders from the private and public sectors, from communities and interested public to engage with national level discussions on the future of Ireland’s heritage, to learn of various initiatives and to meet up with those involved and interested in the protection and promotion of Ireland’s heritage.
Ireland’s natural heritage includes its wildlife, its natural habitats and ecosystems, its living and historic landscapes, and our geology. At Natural Capital Ireland, we work to promote the importance of this heritage to the lives and livelihoods of everyone on the island, and to encourage policies which ensure that this heritage is appropriately valued, managed and protected for future generations.
This year's Summit, aligning with a key principle of the heritage plan, Heritage Ireland 2030, is on the theme of Access to Heritage.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this and to chat about our work so feel free to come up and say hi to our team at the event.
The summit speeches and panels will also be livestreamed on the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage’s Facebook channel for those who are unable to attend in person.
