Natural Capital Ireland is advancing seagrass restoration through the Interreg NWE REBORN project, working with partners across Europe to scale up recovery of these vital ecosystems. At a recent Galway event, a new documentary and European species poster highlighted the ecological importance of seagrass, from carbon storage to biodiversity support, while showcasing collaborative efforts to protect and restore these often-overlooked coastal habitats.
