NCI is co-hosting a special Earth Day screening of Mrs Robinson, a documentary exploring the life of former Irish president and activist Mary Robinson at Nano Nagle Place, Cork.

Mrs Robinson, by Irish director Aoife Kelleher, will be screened in partnership with the Environmental Forum and global climate justice activists Project Dandelion. The film charts the career of Ireland’s first female president, former UN high commissioner for human rights and former chair of The Elders Foundation Mary Robinson, told in her own voice.

Complementing the Earth Day 2025 theme of 'Our Power Our Planet', the April 22nd event commences with refreshments from 6.45pm, followed by the screening at 7.15pm. NCI Executive Coordinator Deirdre Lane, Project Dandelion's Special Projects Communicator Laura Cook, flying in to join us from the UK, and Theo Dillon, Project Development Officer, The Environmental Forum will take part in an interactive panel discussion, reflecting on the legacy of Mary's work for climate justice and human rights and envisioning where we can go from here collectively. Concluding the event, there will also be a special video message from Mary Robinson herself and we'll be handing out some special Project Dandelion badges.

Tickets for the screening are selling very fast via eventbrite,10 euro HERE.
