IFNC director Prof Jane Stout took part in an online interactive webinar as part of the Trinity Long Room Hub 'Behind The Headlines' discussion series on Tuesday, April 7 at 7.30pm.
The panel featured Prof Katherine Hayhoe, Director of Climate Science at Texas Tech, Prof Michael Cronin, Director of Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation, and farmer and RTE / Independent journalist Darragh McCullough in an event titled Climate Change and Pandemics.
The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that acting fast and decisively is key to managing this public health crisis. If we imagine the severity of the climate emergency like the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, would we act now?
